Buff UV Headband: Best Travel Headband Ever!!!

June 30, 2014 by Amiee

Buff UV Headband

I was looking back through all my travel photos from the last few years and it was a hard to find a photo where I wasn’t wearing a Buff UV Headband. In those rare cases where I wasn’t donning a headband, it was surely because it was covered up by a climbing, ski, or bike helmet.

Having slightly unruly curly hair, Buff Headbands have been my savior on the road when showers and hair washes are rare and far between. I also love them for running, hiking, and yoga since I can’t stand when those short frizzy hairs on the top of my head stick to the sweat on my forehead – yuck!

Buff Headband Adventures and Fun

The Many Adventures of Buff

Buff Headbands are also classy enough to wear to work. They are great for those days when you just don’t feel like dealing with your hair. You can also slap one on after a mid-day workout to tame the frizz and get back to work.

Buff Headbands are much shorter than the Original Buff or Half Buff and are only wide enough to act as headbands although I have found some other uses for them as well. The Buff Headband can easily be slid over your eyes to act as an eye mask when the sun hits your tent a little too early. I also slide the headband down to cover my ears when I have find myself a little colder than expected on a run or bike ride.

The Buff Headband stays in place and keeps the hair out of my eyes. It wicks sweat and offers UV protection as well. Make sure to put sunscreen on below the band or you end up with a sweet Buff tan line like I sport most summers.

So Many New Colors - Fun!

The bands wash great and my first headband is still going strong after five years of wear. Sure it has stretched out a tad, but it still stays in place. Other headbands give me headaches, but not the super soft Buff. It is loose yet stays in place – I don’t know how they do it!

Who knew I could write so much about a headband? Oh and they are machine washable. Seriously great!
